As a Founding team member and first Tech hire, I launched a VC-supported startup by transforming an idea into a market-ready product. I led the accelerated delivery of an AI-powered go-to-market platform that consolidates various data sources into a real-time intelligence tool for informed business decision-making.

• To instill a sense of urgency and ownership, I quickly built an in-house engineering development team and established a robust technology stack. This involved replacing an outsourced development firm and prioritizing rapid development efforts.

• Within just four months, we transformed the intellectual property from zero lines of code to a fully operational SaaS platform, complete with multiple products.

• Additionally, as part of the M&A team, I conducted technology due diligence and analyzed the strengths and synergies of potential acquisitions. I effectively integrated the technology and staff from two acquisitions, optimizing the engineering organization to create a more efficient and smoothly functioning department.

2014–2021

Recruited to enhance security innovation and cloud modernization across all company areas, including physical security, cybersecurity, network security, infrastructure, crisis management, safety, disaster recovery, hardware, software, and data centers. Built a team of over 200 members from inception, managing over 100 projects with vendors and startups annually while owning an average operating budget of over $100 million in capital expenditures (CapEx).

• Developed the industry's first wireless, location-aware, video analytic-integrated AI solutions at scale. Successfully drove the entire program from a conceptual stage to implementation, fostering growth in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Video Analytics AI sectors while achieving a recurring 40% cost reduction for Meta.

• Designed and deployed global multi-cloud, multi-platform solutions for privacy, security, DevOps, Policy, Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC). Unified departments and organizations company-wide, reducing risks to people and assets by an average of 23% with 40% cost savings.

• Identified, pursued, and secured strategic partnerships and investments in startups that generated millions in savings, mitigated risks and vulnerabilities, and strengthened the company’s intellectual property portfolio.

2011–2014

Recruited to build and enhance Microsoft's security portfolio, driving engineering development to create innovative, market-ready products that addressed emerging cybersecurity needs globally. Led the development of pioneering cybersecurity forensic analysis tools and shaped technologies that have become industry standards, integrated into major online marketplaces (Microsoft, Google, Apple), and influenced updates and revisions of SOC, ISO, NIST, and other security frameworks.

• Delivered vital cybersecurity infrastructure in Brazil, Mexico, and China, directly supporting global market-share growth for flagship products like Windows Phone, Xbox, and Surface.

• Consistently surpassed implementation targets in each country, significantly impacting quarterly earnings, including fueling a 248% surge in Xbox unit sales in Brazil (then the world's 3rd largest gaming community).

• Drove the seamless integration of new products into the Microsoft ecosystem and managed the transition of partners and vendors globally as projects concluded.

• Provided security expertise to Microsoft and company partners globally and as a member of the Security Working Group for the Windows App Store, Client Server Apps, and SDL Tools.

2002–2011

Selected and completed four progressively challenging internships and was hired full-time as a Software Engineer (coding) while still in college. I rapidly advanced through various engineering roles to become an Engineering Lead, then promoted into a Senior Product Manager and, ultimately, the Global Head of Innovation for BCA Airplane Systems.

Led and owned final software testing and integration for Systems Test for Connexion by Boeing, pioneering in-flight internet service. Software Engineer (coding) on the team that developed the world’s first digital cockpit, SDK (APIs), and file servers for the Boeing 787, a groundbreaking aircraft that incorporated modern computing and networking technology. As a Senior Product Manager, I led the creation of web-based configuration tools for in-aircraft systems, consistently achieving an impressive uptime of over 95%. 2011, we did not achieve 99.99999% as flight critical systems were still analog.
